There will be an updated version of the mod file and a copy of ZHRPG: Escape available for study in the coming weeks.
@Andy, if you are talking about Harbinger, Scion, and Xenos, they are unlocked by killing 'secret' bosses in maps 2, 3, and 4 (respectively). As you can tell, Scion and Xenos are not yet available for that reason (except to a select few testers).
Zerg Hunter RPG: The Betrayal (ZHRPG)
Looked for a thread on this, and didn't come across anything. This is a featured Blizzard map and currently sitting at the 2-3rd position in the SEA & EU servers. It's an amazing Diablo-esque RPG with distinct skill trees and random drops! From the website www.zhrpg.net: Features '15 distinct heroes divided into 6 Terran, 6 Protoss, and 3 unlockable champions! •With 15 heroes to choose from, there is something for everybody. •No set class roles means that forming a party is trivial. No need to find a tank. If somebody needs to take more hits for the team, buy some armor! •Unique skill trees, with 6 active skills and 8 passive perks per hero (in map 1). With 10 maximum points per skill/perk, you would need to be higher level than is available to maximize them all, making your hero unique to you. By the end of the series, it goes up to 19 different skills/perks per hero (285 total!) of which 47% can be ultimately filled. •Many new active and passive skills that do not originally exist in Starcraft II Adjust the game to suit your needs! •Hardcore mode that disables hero resurrection •Insane mode for those that want a greater challenge •Enemies scale with players, so one player can tackle the series as well as four could, but the map is meant to be a co-op tactics rpg. •Epic story telling via skippable cinematics. Watch the plot if you want, keep trashing monsters if you don’t. Features any RPG fan would love! •Loot, loot, loot (over 100 items available in map 1) •Persistent hero that you take with you to the subsequent chapters •Want more loot? No problem! Load your saved hero and start over at the map’s starting level, but with all your gear transferred over! •Feel you earned something for upping the difficulty? I agree! Completing maps 1-4 on Insane or Hardcore unlocks additional unique hero choices. •New Town Portal system: go back to base from anywhere and teleport back anywhere you have visibility (including allied vision) And much more still coming! •A series of five maps will take you through an epic story focused entirely on your heroic deeds. •A tournament style PvP and PvE map where players can load their saved max level hero to compete against others in ruthless competition! •A database of user-made maps for the tournament I played this a couple of times - once solo, then a couple of times with 3 other players.. it's amazing; each play through was more than an hour long (its difficulty scales up and feels more epic the more characters play - one lasted 2 hours). Your loot carries over, but your skills reset every time you play so you can change your play style depending on the different types of Armor, Weapons or Accessories you pick up. Multiple chapters coming; I hope I can carry over my characters over to maps 2 onwards.
If you play with a good team, you can easily level to 30 (current cap) in one play through - though levels don't really matter as it gets reset, it just lets you see what works and what doesn't. You can save up to 3 heroes - personally I've only played as Silent Thunder (Thor) and the Tempest (High Templar). The site says you don't need class roles; whilst this is true (you can solo - but it gets quite difficult later on into the game), it's a lot better to have some characters play a specific tank role, some as DPS, some as casters. Your trees are so versatile though, playing the same character one game as a tank and another as damage dealer is quite possible. The bosses are very unique, each with distinct looks, attacks and special abilities. Overall a great game. Anyone else here play? What are you favourite classes? Any strategies you like to use? + Show Spoiler +
My play throughs with Silent Thunder, I've focused on getting shield and health regen to tank, with turret fire support. Playing through solo, I found the turret damage scales up quite well, and having 3 turrets out and 3 bunkers you can sim-city the AI to run around in circles trying to get to you. As the Tempest I've tried getting all my skills, and found I don't have enough power to deal significant damage and I didn't use anything except for Voidlings and Storm.. Voidlings don't last long enough and having only two at a time isn't that good - maybe I need to extend their duration. Storm can get quite powerful if I put more into it, but it'd be great to have something that can hold units in place to cast it, guess my HT micro isn't so great. I've seen my team mates use the Sphynx (Immortal) and Ghosts (forget their in game name)
